A few things to note before we get started is that we had a Disability Access Service (DAS) pass for our stay due to my various medical conditions, but mainly my asthma that is really affected by high levels of humidity. There will be a blog post coming soon on how the DAS pass works, etc. Therefore, we were able to get lots of things done as well as plenty of air-conditioning time for me throughout our stay! You can read all about the DAS pass here.

We also booked our FastPass+ reservations 60 days in advance, as we were on-site, hence the multiple rides on several very popular rollercoasters such as Slinky Dog Dash and Flight of Passage. All of these are marked as FP. Although even if you do not manage to snag a fast pass for all the rides you wish to do whilst at Disney, you can get lots of them on the day once your initial three are used up/expire.

There will be more detailed Disney blog posts coming up in the future including our favourite character meet and greets, the best rides at WDW, restaurant and resort reviews, etc.

So on that note, on with our completed Walt Disney World itinerary. If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments below. Grab a cuppa and enjoy!

Walt Disney World Itinerary 2019

We traveled from Cornwall to London on the 28th of July and stayed in the Travelodge at Heathrow Central. Our journey to Orlando began on the 29th, with our first flight taking us to Washington DC and then hopping on a connection to Orlando International. Of course, being Disney first-timers we wanted to see the Castle on the very first day, so our first stop was the Magic Kingdom having dropped off our suitcases at All-Stars Music resort.

Day 18 – 15.8.19, Day 19 – 16.8.19 and Day 20 – 17.8.19

  • Travel Day take 1. This day turned into an absolute nightmare. We left All-Stars Music on the Magical Express at 11 am for our 2:15 pm flight, which ended up being over 8 hours delayed! United Airlines put us up in a hotel for the night and rescheduled our connecting flights to Newark, New Jersey. We eventually made it home after lots of delays the following day too.

So there you have it, our completed Walt Disney World itinerary for summer 2019. We had an incredible time in Florida and would go back in a heartbeat. Now it is time to persuade my family to pay another visit in the future (I am working on it)!
