Winter Wonderland is arguably the best part of Christmas in London, I just absolutely love it. Christmassy market stalls, ice-skating, fun rides (okay, some are rather terrifying), places selling hot chocolate with Baileys, Mulled Wine, German sausages, sweet stalls and pancake shops here, there and everywhere. It is christmas is a nutshell, well, a large nutshell, one spanning a lot of Hyde Park…
It’s just the most Christmas-y place, ever!
Anna and I decided to go last Wednesday evening, mainly because I wanted churros, which I persuaded Anna to buy some with me. She wasn’t overly impressed, as I had apparently made them sound a lot nicer than they are! I disagree, although three each was just too many especially after a banana-Nutella crepe, or in Anna’s case a sugar-lemon version seen as she doesn’t like Nutella. Don’t worry, I think she is odd too… Who doesn’t like Nutella?!
We wondered around for a couple of hours, after walking miles from Green Park station – trust me, when they say that is it a few minutes walk, they are lying to you. I took some photos during our little adventure, I hope you like them and let me know if you are planning on going to Winter Wonderland or somewhere similar this Christmas!
My photos from Winter Wonderland:
Seriously, how good do those churros look?
P.S. I am taking part in blogmas this year and so there will be a new post up every single day until December 25th. Don’t forget to subscribe to my mailing list or follow me on social media so that you never miss a post!
