Are you at a crossroads in your career, or are you figuring out ways to try and climb the ladder and give yourself the best chance of getting your dream job? If you’re keen to progress or open new doors, have you thought about studying? With online programs, you can work and learn at the same time.

The infographic below highlights the amazing advantages of taking an online MBA. If you have an interest in business, or you’re eager to try and move up in an industry that is related, studying online could provide you with the experience, skills, and qualifications you need to take the next step. The graphic shows that graduates taking an online MBA come from a diverse range of backgrounds. At Northeastern University, most graduates have experience in healthcare and financial services, for example. For many, the online format was the most significant factor when choosing a course, and the most popular reason for pursuing further study was personal satisfaction. Almost 20% chose to apply for the MBA to benefit from better career opportunities.

Choosing to study for a master’s shows commitment to a current employer, but it also improves your chances of impressing other business owners or managers. As the infographic suggests, graduates with an MBA can also expect to earn more. At Northeastern University, 73% of graduates increased their salaries after completing the course, and 49% gained a promotion. For those who are keen to reach the top of the tree and assume a position of responsibility and authority, the course also increased the chances of landing a leadership role.

If you have ambitions to get ahead, and you want to create new career opportunities, it’s worth considering studying online.
